WTF is the WGISS Test
Facility, GOFC is the Global
Observation of Forest Cover project. WTF-GOFC is a project
designed to provide access to interoperable components to
the GOFC community to better help them access data and services
and to publish their results. The WTF concept is a component

A key part of the WTF-GOFC activity is a search for standards
and specifications that will improve access to data and services.
The Open GIS Consortium
has been developing interoperability specifications for web-based
access to services. These web pages provide an overview of the
Web Mapping Testbed (Phase 2) or WMT-2 activities. |
